First night under new management. A brother and sister open up the family pub for the first time after it’s been left to them by their mum. Nestle yourself amongst the regulars as they find their voices through love, loss, laughter and a pub quiz. Drown your sorrows or charge your glasses, but grab a pint, take a seat and get a load of this!

A celebration of community spirit and pub culture. An hour-long, site specific experience with all the great qualities of a gig.

In 1844 Friedrich Engels wrote The Condition of The Working class in England – his classic denunciation of the appalling circumstances of the working class in this country, much of it drawn from his first hand experience of Manchester and Salford.

In 2012 a company of volunteers, most of whom had never met before, working from Engels’ book and their own experiences, they created a show of dramatic scenes,songs and performance poetry.

TuckShop is a pick of new work from some of NTT's favourite writers and a mix of our trademark electrifying energy, blended to create a new writing night with a twist.

Set in Moss Side, Manchester - scene of its own riots in July 1981 -Trevor Griffiths' play gives voice to this tinderbox of disenfranchised youth in the form of four skinhead would-be musicians, who gather in a dusty basement to vent their frustration in violent, angry songs played on ripped-off instruments.

Brand new site-specific production from the award-winning Not Too Tame. A group of misfits take over a disused building, but when taking on the man, are they heading for the mother of all hangovers? Not so much hippies, hoodies and placards, but raves, glow sticks and UV war paint.

After a sell-out run during their last visit to the Fringe, NTT are back, and invite you to a celebration of what it means to make a stand and find comfort in being part of a something. Relentlessly upbeat and unpredictable, this is party theatre at its best!
