JIMMY FAIRHURST

ARTISTIC DIRECTOR

 

Originating from Warrington in the North West, Jimmy played academy level Rugby super League for Leigh and Bradford before changing route to become an actor. 

 

Jimmy trained at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, where he was awarded the John Gielgud Award in his final year. Directly from college, Jimmy won his first role with the internationally acclaimed Cheek By Jowl and toured the globe extensively for the three years under the Direction of Declan Donnellan OBE and Nick Ormerod OBE. 

 

Jimmy has also performed across various great regional theatres such as Derby Theatre and Bolton Octagon and his television credits include; The Royals (Channel E!), Doctors (BBC) and Topsy & Tim (BBC).  Jimmy has just recently completed filming with Mike Leigh on his latest film, Peterloo.
