ANDREW BUTLER

 

Andrew joined the company in 2012 is a core member of the NTT's creative team.

 

He grew up in Warrington. He is a performer and writer for Not Too Tame as well as being the company’s General Manager.  In 2013 he and Hanna co-wrote NTTs first bilingual (English/Welsh) play 'FISHBOWL' which debuted at the Swn Festival in Cardiff.

In 2014 Andrew was awarded judges special mention at The Monologue Slam at Royal Stratford East.  He writes and performs comedy, is 50% of double act Mum & The Butler, and a current member of the Old Vic New Voices Community Company.

 

Andrew started his acting career with a three year role in Ch4’s Brookside aged 13. He studied Drama at University, then trained as an actor at LAMDA.  Since then, he has worked for new writing company Box of Tricks, toured Europe with Vienna’s English Theatre, toured the UK in Calibre Productions stage version of Porridge, and appeared in London at The Lost Theatre, Leicester Square Theatre and The Old Vic.
